MAT26x Ion Source Head

We were encouraged by numerous requests regarding the handling
of the ion source and the sample magazine to develop our own, all-new
ion source chamber for the MAT260/261/262 Thermal Ionization Mass
Spectrometers. The aim was to simplify ion source exchange as well as
sample wheel indroduction. Furthermore, wiring should be minimal in the
handling area. As a result, the redesigned ion source and sample turret
became more compact. The turret is no longer attached to the ion source
and together with its stand it was transformed into one, easy-to-handle unit.
The front door is available in various designs, depending on the individual
application and preferences.
